An FMT practitioner has:

  • Highly developed tactile skills usually reserved for physiotherapists and chiropractors
  • Ability to generate a highly profitable income
  • Ability to deliver a service not widely available

  • Confidence in the success of established FMT practices
  • Paradigm shift in health care

To become a specialist in FMT you need:

  • An interest in offering alternative treatment services
  • A desire to work with your hands
  • A willingness to step outside of your comfort zone
  • A desire to learn and apply the basis of manual therapies such as physiotherapy and chiropractic

There are 3 key steps necessary to become a specialist in FMT:

  1. Learn, practice & master the Foot Mobilisation Techniques
  2. Learn, practice & master patient assessment protocols for FMT
  3. Learn, practice & master the business operating systems of an FMT practice

There are 2 pathways to becoming a specialist in FMT.

Independent Route:
This is where you learn, develop and practice FMT and assessment protocols on your own clientele in your own practice with the guidance of a consultant experienced in FMT. There are 3 levels of competence to complete and successful completers of Module 3 may be offered to own and operate a licensed Foot & Leg Centre under a Licensed Agreement.

Incubator Route:
This is where you undertake the training in FMT at an established, operating Foot & Leg Centre. You will commence as an FMT Trainee, then progress to a Foot & Leg Centre employee (4 levels). Successful employees of the Foot & Leg Centre may be offered to own and operate a licensed Foot & Leg Centre under a Licensed Agreement.
